About kurenai
From the temple at Takao, looking down.
I'm a college graduate, born and raised in southern California, who decided to put her Japanese to good use and came to Osaka, Japan to teach English. Having received almost 2 years of teaching under my belt I decided to go back to school for a Masters in International Relations which I finished from Melbourne's La Trobe University in Australia in 2010. At the moment I am living in Washington D.C. working for an environmental NGO and thinking about how to save up money to travel - and live abroad - again.
My hobbies are Japanese culture (history, fashion, music), reading (love fantasy!), yoga, visiting home (SoCal), and finding ways to travel cheaply abroad.
I love broadening my horizons and meeting new travelers from all walks of life!
