Europe or BUST I am going to Iceland for 21 days on a volunteer expedition in east Iceland, actually. I will be donating my time to do organic farming with my workcamp. After that I will be on my own to backpack around Europe. Feel free to send me messages !

Luca and I skipped morning yoga today, it was freezing inside the flower barn (the flower barn and the yoga room are the same place). At 9AM we had breakfast and at 10 we loaded the transport bus to take off to a neighboring farm about an hours drive away called Husey. There, we checked out the horse stables, the horses, a newborn horse who was only a few hours old and barely able to keep his balance while walking by it's mother, and the farm hostel that was also there. We all took a long walk to the beach and chilled out for an hour or more, took photos, yadda yadda yadda. The beach had black sand, I've heard of this described in some travel books that Iceland had black sanded beaches. Back at the farm we chilled for an hour or more while a few others went horseback riding. The horses in Iceland are 100% pure, brought over by the Vikings over 1000 years ago, they're absolutely beautiful, docile creatures. After a long ride home all of us gathered together to prepare a meal of fresh caught wild salmon and trout, thai coconut-curry soup and lots of homemade barley bread. 4 more days left !
