Headed off early from Leon back to Managua and then into Granada. After a bit of walking with our packs to find a hostel we settled on Oasis. It's large, weird & has a strange vibe to it but it's cheap & they have free drinking water & pancakes for breakfast. That's a start right?
We set out to explore Granada and grab some lunch. Hoping to support a local NFP cafe & disability enterprise for deaf & blind people we stopped in at cafe sonriesa but they weren't doing lunch. After some further scoping we found a little comedor in the Parque central & tried Yuka con cerdo & a tasty cacao drink.
We walked gown to the lake & checked out the cathedral & then went to the gym!
After a later dinner of another local dish - nakatamales & some evening handicraft shopping we called it a night.
