Today was another long transit day with three buses and road border crossings into Guatemala from Mexico.
We made it safe & sound to the quiet mountain transit town of Quetzaltenango or Xela as the locals call it.
Whilst the road trip was a little hairy in parts we got to town with enough time to secure spots to trek Volcan Tajumulco setting out at 5am!
We will climb to around 4300m so it won't be your casual stroll but should be amazing all the same!
