another 5 hour train trip and we got to our last stopover in europe...amsterdam. a very strange city but eventually it all makes sense. the people are awesome, so so lovely. they basically all speak english which makes life a lot easier as well.
we stayed pretty much in the town centre. right near the red light district which is one of the strangest areas i think i have ever been in. (even stranger there being a kindergarten right in the middle of it)
we did our free walking tour again of the city. worked out how to know our way around the city if we ever got lost by using the canal system as there are 4 main ones. got some quirky information about the city (eg. anywhere that serves food, by law, must have a cat on the premises because of the rat problem) saw anne frank's house as well. the city is rather quiet, there's not much to do there but we had a pretty good time.
on our last day we went to the sex museum which was pretty disturbing but kinda funny, and also ate the best pancakes! (yes pancake parlour, it beats u by far) lucy and i had to get ourselves pumped for the trip back to london as we got the bus which took 12 hours.
