Journey

SOUTH KOREA | Wednesday, 9 January 2008 | Views [750] | Comments [3]

Hey, so this is my first entry from South Korea! I got here safe and sound and am sitting in Khan Language school typing this as I have some spare time whilst the others are teaching! My plane journey was long but comfortable, there actually wasnt very many people on the plane and actually no-one sitting on my row so I pushed all of the arm rests up an slept most of the way exluding watching stardust and ratatioulle on dvd. Its about 9pm here and the Khan English school is about to close. I have sat in on one class so far and will sit in on classes from 1-9 tommorrow and start teaching on Friday! THe children seem very nice and the teachers are very friendly. In fact everyone is friendly. I was waiting earlier for someone from the school to pick me up from the bus station in Suwon and a young boy and his mum saw me looking a bit lost and offered me a cell phone to call someone. Sooo sweet! ANyway I came straight here to the school from the bus station so have yet to see my flat but so far Korea is very friendly, very pretty and looks a bit like Time square because of all of the bright lights and screens up around the city centre! xxxxx

Hi Glad you arrived in one piece. Hope your first day teaching goes off alright I don`t know why but I expected it to be all rural and green, not a bit like times square. Thinking of you lots of love Nina, Noel, Pharaoh, Sid and Spangle x
