We cruised out of Murchison and arrived in Nelson. We headed straight for Otto's Backpackers and it was so nice to be back. We caught up with him as well as the others who we met a few weeks back and it was great to see some familiar faces. We hung out for a bit and then headed to the beach for awhile then went off to the store. We left Cassela in the car so we could go in and get the last of her birthday goodies.
Back at the house, we made fruit salad and put corn on the barbecue. We waited for the grill master to finish cooking heaps of chicken drumsticks and lamb chops. There was about 20 or so of us and we were all quite hungry. Everyone made a dish from their home country and we all served up. All the food was so delicious I wanted to keep eating but only had one plate. Eddie also stopped by to say hi. We all ate and hung out. The girls and I went to bed pretty early.
