Altitude: 2886m.

Last day of trekking - done and dusted! Woohoo!

I have just had my weekly shower, a few days overdue. I got to wash my hair and scrub some of the dry extra-tanned patches of my face. I'm feeling pretty good. We might even get to leave tomorrow! We could be in Kathmandu a day earlier.

I thought I'd record the kilometres we've done before we hand over our trusty Everest book to Ngwang, who always looks at each picture in it like it's gold. :) We will miss him for sure.

Jiri-Phakding: 87km
Phakding-Lobuche-Lukla: approx 67km
Total distance: approx 154km

I can't believe that over the last 20 days or so, we've walked a whopping 154km!
