Just three more days till Kathmandu and seven to home in KK!
While having lunch at Jorsalle (where Ngwang got very drunk the last time), I spotted a glammed-up Aussie girl walking down from Namche, who then decided to sit at the same restaurant and have everyone gape at her, especially some Italians who must've taken a photo of me for a stark comparison. Perfectely coifed, long blonde, hair, clear and fair complexion, pink lipstick, false eyelashes, manicured nails, looking outrageously clean - how did this girl trek?! Or did she even trek? There I was, sat across from her, filled with jealousy and with my painfully chapped lips and patchy peeling sunburned face (from the altitude sun and snow), dirt-dreaded hair in a high bun, long nails strewn with black dirt and very dirty clothes. She was impossible and having seen her look like that coming down (not up!) still continues to baffle me! I was going to write up a trekking packing list to help girls look glam, but obviously I'm not the one to do so! :P
