Hi! Leah & I arrived fine. We've been guided by Leah's collegemate Matthew, a native Hong Kong(er?) who knows the efficiency of this bustling city. With his help, we've had plenty of practice w/ chopsticks (Thai,HKian,Shanghainese) and navigated malls and subways, trains, ferries, minibuses & taxis. Who knew you could hike and go to the beach in Hong Kong? We swam in the South China Sea & a swimhole along the hike. We've had absolute STEAMERS the last few. The roach in the toilet last night was mongo.
Sunday was Leah's 27th birthday...we celebrated by church, the crazy market, and cake & scattergories. She gets 36 hours bc of the 12 hrs ahead. So wish her a great birthday! Goodnight!!
