dear all,
sorry for the lack of stories, paris was crazy busy and now were back at work we dont have the internet anymore.sorry!!!so this is only quick..
paris was amazing! the eiffel tower was beautiful, the view was a little smoggy but still great. the arc de triomphe was hectic, there are 12 roads all into one huge round-a-bout that has no rules, so cars were everywhere (no insurance company covers any car on the round-a-bout its that crazy). the moulin rouge was great, a fair amount of boob but still quiet classy. did a walking tour and saw alot, including notre dame. visited mont marte and the beautiful sacre coure church. went on a boat tour along the seine river was very pretty as well...and last but not least shopped (but didnt buy anything) along the champs elysee, the 2nd most expensive shop in the world.
the trip back was a little long, caught a subway train, then a normal train, a bus to the plane, then the plane, then another plane, then the bus again finally into edinburgh and said goodbye to mum, dad and bec as they go on their scotland 3 day tour. but our travelling wasnt over, then caught the train and finally a taxi back to faskally. its freezing at the moment, tempretures have been down to -10 degrees and a top of 2 degrees..bbbrrr..
dan and i are off to perth today, we bought a beautiful christmas tree but dont have a star for it!
hope all is well, were all fine and having a ball. mum, dad and bec loved edinburgh and have already seen the area where the maclennan family are from (dads mums side (nancy hetherington), so even though its cold its beautiful and theyre having a ball..how many people can say theyve had a white christmas!!
thankyou to everyone who sent us christmas cards, the battens, bassos, the barings, grandma and grandpa, the millotts, tash, brenda and max and di and oma, theyre lovely and are decorating our mantle piece! sue, your lovely australian decorations make our tree look a little more aussie like!
love to all, jess xo
