dear all

firstly, we loaded a few fotos onto the blog, but were having a few problems with the net so hopefully will be able to do a few more fotos later.

today we relaxed for the morning, good ol vegemite on toast for brekkie. then walked to the arches (kinda looked like brandenburg gate in munich) about 45 minutes from our hostel..it didnt look that far on the map. The weather was a little overcast and it drizzled for a while and we had a top temp of 2 degreees!!!hooray, but you get warm when you walk that far.

Behind the arches is autoworld, a car museum that has been displaying cars since the 1930's ish. A huge amount of cars and steve and dan loved it..bec not so much. They had a remote controlled car races going on, so we watched the little cars speed around the tracks while we rested our legs before the massive walk back..i have never heard dan whinge like he did today..seriously harden up dan..his whinging on the way didnt help for the further 45 minute trip home..and it was still raining, and by then steve joined in on the whinging..men.

bec cooked us stirfry for dinner, was very nice.and mandy cooked the rice in tiny little plastic bags..must be a european thing. were about to walk back into town..lol, dan and dad are excited already..to see the main square which gets all lit up with pretty lights.

tomorrow were heading of to ghent for 4 nights, poor steve is off to work whilst we continue to gorge ourselves on begian delights..someones got to pay for our holiday.

brussels has been a very busy city, their are endless walking paths and tiny streets around the town, with cute stalls and good smelling food. were still practising our french, but ghent will probably speak more flemish..great. so far weve all loved brussels.

love to all

love mandy and jess xoxo

Hello everyone sounds like your all having a good time except all the men whinging, the weather here is beautiful we went to Shepparton yesterday to watch the car drags, and burn outs, and we all got so burned,I'm the only one that got burned on the face and it still hurts everyone else has gone brown. it's not fair. Last week was ok took Trent to Surrey hills on Tuesday for a job interview, things went good, on the 15th of December he's going for a trial so hopefully all goes well and next Tuesday he's going for an interview for Kmart Auto so keep all of your fingers crossed, havent heard anything about Silvan yet, Trent will ring them on Wednesday so we might know then. I have been to Centrelink and have an appointment on Thursday to see if they can help Trent. I have finished my Christmas shopping. Went out for dinner for Dougs 70th, we went to a resturant called Poppies in Blackburn the food was really nice and had a really good time. I'm going to start putting up the Christmas decorations this weekend and plus David's work Christmas Party is on Saturday so I'm looking forward to that. David is off to Sydney tomorrow, work again is really quiet. I should go now, I'll have nothing to Email you next time. I'v been going to Curves how about you, they all said to say hello. Bye for now Lisa, David, Trent, Joshua, Storm and Flash xoxoxox ps keep warm
