dear all,

all looking forward to the weekend?

luke, the space brownies we had in amsterdam were so good!just make a really chocolatey brownie and put some hash in it, no one will taste it if the brownie tastes awesome..and then they will eat more!mum loves chocolate..

today we were up early due to 13 people in our dorm all leaving at differnt times..great..this was after the  most ridiculously loud snoring man continuing to snore..we bought ear plugs today!..neway some left at 5, more at 6, some at 7 and then we were up at 8.love hostels.

worked out the underground and got to buckhingham palace with natasha from canada as our guide because shes been around before, watched the changing of the guard, alot or marching and band playing, and slighty overrated, but still worth seeing,  left buckhingham pakace via the australia gate..didnt evn know that existed till our canadian guide told us!walked up to trafalgar square and had lunch at an enligsh pub, loving it that here there are other options other then beer, apple cider!yay.

from there walked down along the river thames, past the london eye. the weather was nice but were going to save it for a really clear day becaus eits so   expensive. walked towards big ben and parliament..looks exactly like it does in the movie 'v for vendetta' before v blows it up..good movie..nway, then went to westminster abbey, got gorgeous fotos, however the entry is 12pound!!!ridiculously expensive, so we didnt go in,  just appreciated the outside. we have  seen ALOT of churches.

From there to london tower, and london tower bridge, london tower bridge is what i always thought was london bridge, but london bridge is actually the most boring bridge one bridge up from  london tower bridge.apparently the silly americans bought london bridge thinking they were buying london tower bridge and then got really annoyed when they worked out they bourght the wrong bridge...apparently.

sorry for my spelling..keyboard is really bad.

last stop was st pauls cathedral, where princess diana and charles got married.

a little tired after walking and not much sleep due to snoring man.

loz, ready for america yet? have a ball.

love to all

love jess xoxooxoxox

Hey Guys - i cant believe how much you packed into one day - you guys must have been wrecked with all that sightseeing. And yes London is bloody expensive, get used to that - especially when your doing sightseeing, with entry into attractions and the 5.10pound a day on tube.

Have you organised oyster cards for tube - they are amazing!

Also KFC tastes way better in London than Aus (except for the chips - no salt!!!)

Also you have to go check out the Imperial War Museum, its south of the thames. You usen the Bakerloo (brown) Tube line and get off at Lambeth North. Then there are signs everywhere pointing u in the right direction - I highly recommend it. Also as Luke said check out Lords Cricket gROUND (St. Johns Wood Tube Station (Jubilee line))!

Anyway, enjoy paying massive money for everything, and cant wait for more blog entries - Brenton

P.S Thanks for the postcard of Schwarzwalk Küchen (Blackforest cake) - made my mouth water!!!) Famiyl lvoed to hear from you!!!

Hi everyone, just checked out all the photos. It certainly looks like you have had a wonderful trip and cramed so much into such a small amount of time. Good to see you all looking so well. I guess it is the alcohol preservation that does it!!!! Have fun. Love Bassos
