I don't have much to say for either Pakse or Tha Khek. Both towns were quick overnight stops as we explored the more remote eastern provinces and made our way towards Vientiane. They each had a fun riverside bar/restaurant scene and remnants of French colonial architecture. Other than that, they were pretty forgettable. Maybe it takes more than a day to truly appreciate them. Oh well… next trip.
