Rural Roots in Southern India

My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

The Lofoten Islands are made up of many small fishing villages such as Reine here, nestled between lofty mountains that rise dramatically out of the Northern Sea. Simple fishing cabins (rorbuer) are built over the water to make use of limited space and fit in with a lifestyle centered around the sea.
