Arriving in Manila at 5 am in the morning I headed straight for the hostel and was luckily able to check in early. After a long sleep I just spent the day relaxing and meeting other travellers at the hostel. The evening was spent enjoying our last drinks on the balcony overlooking the chaos below. We then were off to a proper local bar called `The Penguin Bar` the hostel owner had arranged free entry and drinks for us so it was set up to be a great night. We were then entertained by a local philippino band singing punk rock and dressed like `The Monkeys`. A fanatstic night of dancing, drinking & singing followed. After a 2 hour sleep my very hungover self was off on a 2 hour trip to the airport to face a 4 hour delay back to KL. I hope I`ll be back to the Philippines.
