We rolled out of bed refreshed after a good long sleep in Shanghai. We meet all of our tour group and headed on our way to Yvyuan Gardens. (the authintic chinese garden) It was really nice to see the old chinese buildings around.
After the gardens, we where given free time to have a look around the city. Jamie and I went to the river back to check out the tall sky scrappers.
We met back at the hotel to re-group and headed to the Pearl Tower (Tallest radio tower in Asia).
As Jamie and I had just seen it down at the river bank we were really excited to see inside and the views for so high up!
We all got tickets to the top of the tower, at about 370m high we were all impressed.
However the sky wasn't that clear from all the polution, so we couldn't see very far.
Our tour guide Anson, had organised some tickets to the Chinese acrobatics. So we all went along excited to see what they could do.
We where all really impressed with the show and the agillity and fitness of the performers was great. One act, there were these girls stacked ten chairs together on the side of the seat and balanced on there hands whilst holding that chairs straight. Had to be there moment but it was awesome.
That night our tour guide took us out to a local resturant where we tried the best food. It has soo much flavour!
