We arrived in Peru 2 weeks ago and the place is beautiful.
We first arrived in Lima Peru´s captial. It is very touristy there but is really clean and nice where we were staying in Miraflores.
We met our group and have been outnumbered by United Kingdomers! There are 4 Scotts and one English girl, all really nice people.
We did a city tour with our tour leader Tito of the Inca ruins in Lima.
After Lima we caught a plane to Peurto Macaladon to go to the jungle. It was cold in Lima due to it being right near the sea. When we got off the plane in Peurto Macaladon we were hit by the humidity! We then drove to the jungle and caught a boat to our lodge which is in the heart of the jungle. It was so amazing to hear all the wild animals and the monkeys making some pretty big noises. We got to hear the howler monkeys which can be head from as far a 14km away with their crys.
