Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon

We left Flagstaff the next day and drove to the Grand Canyon after much anticipation. We had organised a helicopter flight over the canyons the night before which was a HUGE dint in the budget but SO well worth it!

We got to the airport an hour before our flight and went though a briefing. Then off we went for a 25min flight over the canyon. This canyon is HUGE however if you’ve been to all the other canyons like we had it’s more of the same thing but bigger.
After the Grand Canyon we went to the go into the park back asked a ranger if it was worth it after what we had already seen. He said that we have seen the best part and in a great way so not to waste more money!

We then headed back to Flagstaff for another night. We went shopping for something non scrubber to where at Vegas.
The next day we loaded up the PT Cruiser for our last trip and headed to Las Vegas.
Along the way we called into Hoover Dam. This dam is HUGE! The dam wall is on a bit of a curve so it looks like a HUGE slippery slide on the way down to the water. As the Transformer movie has a scene there Candice decided that a video clip of her ´transforming´ would set more the movie feel. So you will have to ask to see the clip!

We then left Hoover and headed into Las Vegas. We got there around lunchtime and had a problem with our hotel booking. We had to drop the car off at the airport at three and we cut it so fine after we finally checked into our hotel at 2. We got dropped off by the Budget man at the Casino strip and had a walk though some of them.
That night we hit the slots, Jamie on the black jack table and Candice on the slots at 25 lines 1 bet!
That night we went to Monty Python play called Spamalot. It was such a funny show. Apparently there is the same play that just started in Melbourne.

The next day we went into other Casino paying the slots and won ourselves $30 after spending a bit more then that! However you have to prepare yourself for loosing at Vegas!
That night we got ourselfs ready to go to New York on an overnight flight.
