    The last photograph is a departing picture. One I took just before I left. Her name is Natalie, and she was a bit of a wonderer, a displaced soul, who I'd eventually come to know quite well. We ended up living together and exchanging and making many experiences. She'd come home one day, with these markings on her back after getting Chinese suction therapy, and I immediately photographed the wonderful impressions. Polaroid 350 - Chocolate 100 by: jacksoncasagrande Views[188] The forth is of a photograph of a busker, who played in one of the main coffee strips. His name is William, and he’s an accordionist. I approached him after he stopped playing, gave him five bucks, and asked if he'd come to my place at the Nicholas, so I could take his picture. We made a little set, and I took the photograph. You'd most likely still find him on Centre way playing his red accordion. Polaroid 350 - Type 100 B&W by: jacksoncasagrande Views[235] The third is the owner of these hands. Her name is Joan, “Like the one on the firing stick”, as she said at our very first encounter. She was the elevator operator of the Nicholas Building for thirty-six years, the last of her kind. The second is a prelude to the third. At this time, when I first met these pair of hands, I was inhabiting The Nicholas Building, right in the guts of the city. Her hands told a story of commitment, routine; The first photograph in the series is of a person I first met in this new city. Her name is Cheyenne, and she's one of the most productive, inspiring people I’ve met.
