From dreary circumstances; the passing of my Great Uncle, a sculptor. Upon the family going through the estate, I inherited a Polaroid SX-70 and Yashica-Mat. From this catalyst, a reaction was set forth in my mind, and still persists to this day. As I grew older the cameras came with me. I learnt about humanity through them; I learnt that humans were not as simple as I originally thought. I realized that photography has the power to change the course of mankind. When one truly thinks of the surreal nature of a photograph, its place in history is a testament to the photographer who was there, who stole that little slither of history, and revealed it to the world. This is what I hope to achieve in some form. A photograph, a shard of perspective. I wish to take my photography with me in my crusade, and capture the truth, wherever it might be lurking. I wish to give optimism to those that have been scorned by misinterpretation. I wish to embed my philosophy and motivation in each photograph I take.
