We're here

ARGENTINA | Tuesday, 21 April 2009 | Views [530] | Comments [7]

After a great weekend in Nagambie for Phil and Bec's wedding, we've arrived in Buenos Aires, staying in an area called Palermo. It's the quiet part of town and we're in a great hostel with a good bunch of travellers who we are shamelessly interrogating for tips about where they've been etc.

The pic is from Cemetario de la Recoleta, where the Buenos Aires elite (celebrities, presidents etc) are buried. It's more like a small suburb than a cemetary and the tombs are ridiculously big.

Hi Iain!!
That itinerary looks sensational. Isn't that Cemetery amazing? We spent hours in there and shot tons of photos. If you can, try to get to La Bocca. Also fabulous for photos....but I'm assuming you'll have no shortage of amazing things to shoot.
Enjoy!

Heya. Google maps has a stupid ability to make everything look same same. Yellow road in city block.

Flying out of Argentina? How about NY in July?
