Leaving the jungle

ECUADOR | Thursday, 14 November 2013 | Views [195]

My last day in the jungle arised with more rain. Imwas assuming it would be a quiet morning prior to me catching my lift back to Quito, wrong! Since there were guests now in the lodge there was another jungle hike going on and was told I would have time to join. So after a 3h hike in another wonderful rainforest with more interestig creatures and vegetation I was now getting ready to return to Quito. Boat trip, 2 taxis and 6h got me back around 9.30pm having not booked a hostel! But, returned to one I had been previously and they had spare beds.
Not a lot of sleep and up early to make my way to the airport. Flying to Guayiquil on the coast. Being picked up at the airport and taken to the Hilton hotel as part of my Galapagos trip. Lets just say that having a massive bed with plush sheets and duvet as well as a shower with copious amounts of hot water was all a real treat!! Afternoon relaxing in my room and catching on my internet tasks and of to sleep!!
