THE CONCLUSION
All in all, New Zealand’s South Island was an absolute joy and we can’t wait to go back some day. All done with the South Island, we had a leisurely breakfast at our favorite restaurant (the Darfield Bakery remained our favorite spot throughout the entire South Island. Delicious, beautiful, and very inexpensive!), drove to the airport, returned the rental car with no issues, and had an easy 1 hour flight to the North Island. That my friends is right where “easy” ended. And the adventure continues…
