A letter to terri irwin

Dear Terri,

I really enjoyed my visit to Australia Zoo. It was great to look at all the animals and to see that your late husband Steve's spirit lives on there. We all miss him very much.

I loved the sleepy wombats and the big crocs, especially Aggro. The tazzie devils were funny and the birds were beautiful (I've always liked birds a lot, you see). The tiger cubs were lovely and the echidna was smelly but interesting. The koalas don't do much, but they like getting their pictures taken. My most favourite were the kangaroos. Seeing then, stroking them and feeding them was the hightlight of my day. I've always wanted to fondle a wallaby.

I do Have one suggestion, though. I didn't see any Dropbears that we keep hearing so much about. All the folk here in Queensland keep telling me to watch out for them but I still haven't seen one of these fascinating creatures. I think they would be a welcome addition to your zoo. Obviously they would have to be in an appropriate enclosure to protect the public and perhaps you could work on a conservation campaign, since they seem to be a bit scarce.

Otherwise, keep up the good work.

lots of love and "crikeys!"

Exxxxx

You'd see plenty of dropbears if you'd taken some wild haggis out to Aus with you, they're the dropbear's favourite prey.

Not fair!! wanna koala, wanna roo, wanna wallaby -especially about 6'4, tanned and toned with unlimited energy in exchange for one slightly used haggis basher!! Only kidding!! And Em was worried about us reading the comments - well seen she hasn't met us.

What's a drop bear?
Love the gecko/salamander or whatever it was - but look at you girl, you look fabulous! What a figure, and you're not Weegie White any more either! I hope the trip is doing you as much good as it looks.

Do the men get better looking as you get nearer to Mt Isa???

Clueless on drop bear, too.

Mrs Weir, I was worried but see now the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree! :)

Irish, does your mum know about the queue?
