Drama! Drama! Drama!
I have well and truely decided that the person that forgot to wear in her new hiking shoes should be shot.... I instead decided on some flimsy shoes that really were never made for hiking and after 3hrs of a 4hr hike they gave way!
yes my shoes spat the dummy.... only to leave me with no choice but to walk bare foot... or send my trusting travel buddy back to the car to get them!!!! which of course was dutifully done....
After the Hooker Valley Hike.... yes Hooker valley (not sure of why the name) we headed on to a tiny place called Twizel. Which has to be NZ's most forgotten town. After literally booming during the Lord of the Rings Movies, for which was the backdrop to many scenes on true locals and die hard fans remain....
