After a 30 hour coach journey (surprisingly more ok than originally thought) we have arrived in Salvador for Carnival. Headed straight out to join one of the street parties....think Notting Hill carnival x50. Spent a good few hours dancing in the rain. Never seen anything quite so hectic..it's going to be a good week
Finished off our week in Rio before coming here with a tour of the city's largest favela, more relaxing on Ipanema beach and bumping into yet more Nottingham people. It couldn't be better
