    A national symbol of Japan, Mt Fuji stands at 12,389 ft. There's a famous Japanese saying Hikers start their descent at daybreak. Reaching the summit by sunrise is a key part of the entire excursion. It's described as seeing the sun rise over a sea of clouds. The sunrise from the top of Mt.
