La granadina
It's the spring semester of my junior year, so I am celebrating with un gran viaje filled with classes (unfortunately) and crazy foreign fun.
Laaaazy Spain

Lazy lazy lazy lazy lazy lazy day. But it’s not always necessary to be a frantic/crazed American tourist, now is it? I was out til 4 last night with all my (mostly American, I’ll admit) amigos, so there is nothing wrong with cozing up and watching some classic season 9 Friends with Anna. But she only has seasons 1, 9, and 10, and it’s only been two weeks, so actually there is a problem. But whatever.
I think we deserve the descanso! It may have been only two weeks, but they have been filled with trekking back to the Alhambra (and “trek” would actually be the right word for it; that is one big hill!), seeing museum exhibitions, hiking Calle Basilio (something?), getting tapas with amigos, still not meeting my homestay brother, intercambios to meet new people, getting better at Spanish and speaking, and understanding what happened on “Hombres de Paco” (finally!).
So today was recovering, tonight’s Whitney’s birthday, and tomorrow we get to wake up and tour the gypsy caves at Sacromonte! So my Spanish mom’s right and we should rest while we get the chance so as not to wear ourselves out. Oh, but I am just so lazy…
