Street performers are a part of daily life. Miss Poppy an immigrant from New Zealand sings reggae songs to make a living ,albeit out of tune. by: danielcraig Views[327] The Welcome Wall's Memorial illuminated by the setting sun and set against the South Mole Lighthouse are located at the Western Australia Maritime Museum in Fremantle. The wall has 21,000 inscriptions, almost half of the 45,000+ immigrants who arrived by boat in Fremantle & Albany during the mid to late 18th century and early 19th century. by: danielcraig Views[368] The port city of Fremantle has a proud history. Not only was it the first colony in Australia to be established without convict settlers it was also the early gateway to the vast expanses and riches of Western Australia.
