Tenzing-Hillary Airport is notorious for bad weather and our flight was cancelled twice. Going on our third day sitting in the hotel waiting for weather to improve we hiked down to a lower elevation and flew out by helicopter.

After seeing some of the gear folks were wearing on the trail you would think they were off to summit Everest. Both of us are pretty proud of completing both treks in our running shoes.
