Konigsplatz Square was built in the 19th century and is modeled on the Acropolis in Athens. It was used during the Third Reich as a square for the Nazi Party's mass rallies but now is home to Munich's gallery and museum quarter.

Nazi Headquarter and Hitlers office where he gave speeches on the balcony. You can still see the bolt holes in the wall that held the giant golden eagles. The government is unable to demolish the building because it is too strong and they can't blow it up because it would risk damaging surrounding buildings so they turned it into a music school and built the Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism. The City of Munich also refuses to make any repairs to it or maintain the grounds.
