Entering the old 16th century star fortress town of Willemstad we thought this structure was a bunker but the waiter at dinner told us in disgust it was a $40,000 piece of art.

Sint Lievensmonstertoren is a 203 foot tall unfinished church tower in the town of Zierikzee. Work began on the tower in 1454 and it was planned to be the largest tower in the world at 669 feet however work on the tower stopped in 1530 when the town went through a financial crisis.
