    A six hour car ride from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park for a jungle adventure. Views[188] Tenzing-Hillary Airport is notorious for bad weather and our flight was cancelled twice. Going on our third day sitting in the hotel waiting for weather to improve we hiked down to a lower elevation and flew out by helicopter. Views[206] After seeing some of the gear folks were wearing on the trail you would think they were off to summit Everest. Both of us are pretty proud of completing both treks in our running shoes.     Sun just starting to peek over Everest. Views[183] The climb up to the top of Gokyo Ri was difficult and the air was thin. Final elevation at the top is 18,000 feet.     Even though Everest is the most popular there are many other spectacular mountains around her. Views[218] Up to the top of Namche Bazaar to catch a look at Everest.
