    My 16th or 17th 'last meal in Luang Prabang'. This soup was my favorite, served by a really friendly women in the food alley of the night market, rice noodles pork and greens. There are a variety of herbs, sauces, chillies and vegetables on the table, it was probably my 10th bowl before i really knew how to garnish this soup.

    looking at your pictures over breakfast and coffee and they are making us hungry. we miss you buddy, but it looks like you are livin' it up in the lands of exotica. but guess what- winter is nearing its end in the old northwest and spring and summer are a comin'- hurry back now, ya hear?
