Washngton is fab, such a change after New York. It is cleaner, less busy, greener and a beautiful city. All the architecture is beautful. Yesterday we saw the Capitol building, and we then walked along the Mall, saw the Washington Monument and walked along to the White House. Not sure what I was expecting with the White House, but it was a bit disappointing, you can see a tiny bit of it off in the distance, the rest of it is hidden by the trees.
The hostel is brillant too, fun place we went out the night before last to an Irish bar and we didn't get in until gone 3am. Last night we stayed in, but again we didn't get to bed until gone 1am. Met so many nice people here.
