Volunteering in the DR

Added some new pictures of my walk around town. I managed to pull out one of my other brothers out of the house to walk with me. It was a miracle, since he hates to leave the house. He is attached to his playstation. Reminds me of someone back home....
Xmas is near, and people are coming in from the states, Puerto Rico, or leaving to the capitol to celebrate. New faces around town.
I just finished facilitating a four day computer course for teachers. It was a very tiring, but rewarding experience. I added some pictures as well. My main complaint on that was that every morning we would have to wipe off the rat poo from the desks and chairs, and somehow they got into our water jug. I found bite marks on one of boxes, but they didn't get in. I had stashed some candy and our other supplies in there. Those little suckers didn't get in to my chocolate. HaHa. One other complaint to that was that we didn't have steady luz, so we weren't able to complete the internet course of the class. It is so frustrating to have to plan around the electricity. My friend even called the electric company to ask them if they could supply us with some extra luz, but no use. They took it away. Overall, I hope that they did learn from the course, and that they enjoyed it as much as I did. Even if it meant for me to wake up at 6 A.M. to get to class. I had forgotten what it was like to have a schedule...
