Volunteering in the DR

Yesterday I went to the river in a neighboring town and now I am regretting having gone. I got attacked by these tiny bugs that left welts all over my legs. Seriously ugly red welts. It looks like chicken pox and itches like crazy. I want to rip the skin off my legs and throw it out the window to feed the chickens down below. I don't know how I am going to sleep without digging my nails into my legs. I looking forward to the scarring over that are going to make my legs even more attractive.
