I am on the computer, and of course my little buddy is sitting right here next to me. He is amazed that I can type without checking the keys. Its magic! He is probably my favorite of all my host brothers, he is so silly, and likes to run around in his undies farting around the room. He probably weighs as much as I do, and still thinks I can carry way back he wanted me to give him a piggy back ride home. He was too tired and too hungry to walk, so instead I had to drag him home. He cracks me up. He is my giant teddy bear. When I was struggling to walk around town without scratching the skin off my legs, I asked him if I could bite him instead since I was in so much pain. He offered up his arm and just said not to bite too hard. I was tempted, but I didn’t take him up on the offer. I was just curious to see how he would react with my question, and it was a sweet offer. I didn’t expect his response. It made me laugh, and instead I stopped to scratch away. Walking around town I like to peek into peoples houses and see how they live. Not in a creepy way, I just like to see inside their homes-it’s a different world inside. Tonight as I walked home at night I found a family that was decorating a small plastic christmas tree. It was so cute. They had lights up outside and I remembered that it is indeed xmas season. I love xmas decorations. Reality set in. My first xmas in the DR and all by myself. No presents? It was a bit nostalgic because the music blasting from the home was Mexican ranchera music. So random, but comforting in a way. Last night I went out for a walk and the full moon lit up the beach. It was so pretty, and well worth the dark walk through the mud. Crabs and tarantulas supposedly fill that road at night, but I have yet to see them on the way. Which is why it is important to carry a flashlight everywhere. You never know when the electricity goes out and you are left in the dark. It is nice to walk around town, and slowly people are remembering my face and call out my name. I just don’t remember theirs. Which is embarrasing. Bad memory. There are so many of them to meet and only one of me, so I am a bit rusty with names. Earlier some guy called out my name and he looked familiar, but I had no idea from where. I forget how I know some people, and so I can’t really place their relationship to the town. Don’t you remember me? I had no idea how I knew this guy and I felt so dumb with my super confused look. How do I know you? And yes, sorry, but I forgot your name. Oh yeah, I met you athe river in the neighboring town. Random. I only talked to you for a few minutes and that was it. I was introduced to a whole bunch of people that day. It is so important to note that people really do get around. Everything is just a quick guagua or moto ride away. Somehow, somewhere I will probably run into people I met when I first arrived and my reputation follows me. I can run, but I can’t hide.

After meeting all these new people and remebering their names, I hope not to have forgotten everyone’s name back in the States. Imagine that? Never.

Be sure to use more Aloe, if you can find it and try to associate an attribute of the person with their name. Roberto is round. Bernie has brown hair. Sometimes it works. Or, you an just call everyone Dude.

Later Dude!

You should nick name for him Ted-B.Well your description of Ted-B running arounding farting reminds me of the book you loved much of the dog that farted, you purchased at CountryWide, remember that name. Do they have your favorite tea? Well of all the important names you need to remember are those of us who write to you. So, what is your favorite thing to do there. ^j^ As always,be good , be safe, and make wise choices.
