Chicago: What trip would be complete without seeing the elephants in Chiang Mai? I put down my deposit to see Dumbo! There are lots of elephant parks but this one appealed to me the most since it is a rescue sanctuary. I believe my mother would approve. UPS delivered my cargo pants today along with some other items. My sister Kitty gave me a backpack so I think I will be oldest backpacker in SE Asia next week. It's been 38 years since I have lugged around a backpack (not counting my wife's purse/bag while shopping of course).
