Leaving Melbourne...

ive been here for a bit over a week now, but it
feels like ive done heaps, especially in the last
few days - ive been on a bus tour from melbourne to
adelaide via the southern coast and the Grampians
mountain/park area.
The bus trip was so cool! we had a good bunch of
people from all over the world - germany, canada,
japan, scotland, and our aussie driver who was great
too :)
our first stop on the tour was at bells beach :) its
not far from melbourne really. it was a bit of a
bummer tho because it was really misty so we couldnt
see the beach very well from the cliff, so of course
i went down to the beach! the surf was pretty good
there too, but damn cold!
We got to see alot of the coastline on the first day
- surf beaches and cliffs and the '12 Apostles' -
which i got to see from a helicopter!!! woohoo!!! i
think its the first time ive been in a chopper and
not jumped out into the water too - novelty ay! ;)
The Grampians seemed like a pretty awesome area too.
bit hard to tell really tho, cos it was so
misty/cloudy that we couldnt see a whole lot. Got to
see a cool waterfall tho, from down in the bottom of
a valley, all surrounded by mist - kinda spooky but
very cool :)
And we did the obligatory animal spotting too -
koalas, kangaroos, emus, but no snakes. hooray!
there were even some albino roos! wierd ay!! its a
strange country this oz place ;)
At the moment im in adelaide for a few days.
Probably heading to perth on monday with a guy from
the hostel thats driving over. Dont know how long
it'l take, but we're not in a rush really :)
