Last day in
Aberdeen…sad.
Roni and
Kaff went out to do errands in the late morning while the boys played on the
PS2. Kaff forgot her phone so they returned long enough to drop off purchased
and pick up phone before heading out again. Good ‘girl time’ catch ups over
coffee and a sweet treat after perusing book shops in the area. The guys sorted
out a UK sim card for us on their way into town then met us for a late lunch of
tasty tasty Japanese food.
Adam &
Kaff had got one of those online voucher things and we each had a cocktail (at
3pm – how decadent!) whilst sharing two delicious platters of Japanese kai.
We got separated
on the way to the Old Schoolhouse pub
– Kaff and Roni saw a cool shop exclusively stocked with local products (art, jewellery
and clothing mainly) while Adam and Bray saw the pub… Combined our powers there
briefly before Roni and Kaff headed home and left the boys to it! Last things
to pack for Roni while Kaff got sorted for the birthday celebration they were
attending that night…the boys got back from a mini pub crawl in time for us to
make it to the bus stop and the Aberdonians to get to their birthday party!
Another
night on a Megabus…pretty uneventful and Bray even got some sleep! Roni got
less due to stumblers falling on her (she was in the aisle seat) and one
passenger smoking a cigarette in the toilet every half an hour or so!
Eventually we made it to London town…
