The Warriors! That was our goal this morning - both of us up before 0800 to try and get a live stream working on the computer in order to watch the NRL Grand Final.
A few technical issues but Bray got it sorted and we were able to watch the game. First half disappointing, some great moments in the second but no...they couldn't pull it off. Still good to be able to see it anyways.
The day was another beauty so many loads of washing done again. After lunch in the sun we got to work in the garden. With all the rainy weather the weeds had taken over a bit and we have taken up all Jeanine's holiday week so thought we could give something back.
The neighbour's cat kept us company the whole time - even freaking Bray out at one point by brushing past his bare back unexpectedly. We finished up in the garden as the light began to fade, brought washing in, got clean then played some cards with a well earned beverage.
Ruben and Jeanine arrived around 7pm with supplies for a BBQ. Yay!! The charcoal was cranked out and the men solved the problems of the world over meat while the girls whipped up some salad and bread upstairs. The weather is SO unseasonably warm that Ruben and Jeanine were tripping out - they have never had a BBQ outside at this time of year before! Usually leaves falling and an average high of 10 degrees. We've been having all temps over 20 and often hitting 25.
A great feast had under the stars in the newly tidied garden before heading inside for a cuppa and more chats. Good times that eventually broke up around 11pm as both Jeanine and Ruben had work early in the morning.
