This scholarship could not be more fitting for me. My life thus far, has involved two great and wonderful things this life has to offer. Photography and my life blood, travel. I’m now at the point in my life to decide what I can do with such skills I have obtained backpacking.

Photography for me has helped me capture moments through my four years of travel that would of somewhat turned into a blur. It has given me reason to hike up that mountain, to walk through those cities just to get those angles. This gives such an accomplishing feeling of what I’m doing in my life. When I grasp my camera I feel totally invisible to the world. That I’m experiencing it through innocent eyes, which is a beautiful way to see this world.

To go to Oman and live through a pure hands on photographic side would be such an honor for me and to actually use my passion to maybe one day make a living out of it, there’s not a price I could put on that.

The photos I have taken here are of my recent travels to my top bucket list city, New York. New York was such a vibrant and lively place to photograph. Never ending Avenues and classic icons.
