    My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

    It's name was created from the nickname “Empire State” given to New York. As the worlds tallest building with a height of 381 m from 1931 till 1972 it symbolized New York's commerce and excellence in architecture. New York was trying to catch the worlds attention. The idea behind my picture is to invite the viewer to use the binoculars for a clearer view of New York's skyline.
