Arrived in TOKYO..

Before I landed in Tokyo I had to conquer the 10 hour flight over. Not to bad, would of liked more sleep but who's complaining when I had 2 window seats to myself, and got to watch 27dresses and Duno.
Once we touched down on foreign territory my butterflys were jumping around silly. But had no issues at the airport and made it to the hotel smoothly.
After a quick nanny nap, I was ready to venture into the BIG city. I managed to find the station and purchase a ticket without assistance, and I was on my way to 'Harajuku'. Once there I followed the crowd down the tiny streets to a passage of funky Japanese boutiques. I could of gone shopping crazy with the tiny shoes and out there accesories.
Around one of many corners I found the tree lined street that had every high end label you got think of.. it was a visual merchandiser's dream. Then I was off to the 'Meiji Shrine', an oasis among the city.
But once in that secluded forrest, I found it hard to navigate my way out. Which is how I managed to end up in a totally different part of the city, and wasted half an hour trying to find an English speaking person. I found my way back to harajuku, and wondered around for a bit, until my feet actually started screaming out in pain. But to my horror, I didn't have enough for another train fare, so I had to walk back to the hotel. Luckly I didn't get lost this time.
So after 3 hours of walking through the streets I took myself out to dinner at the hotel Italian resturant, which was lucky that I wasn't paying because it was a lil over the top, $20 was the cheapest glass of wine.
Now, I have just made my way back from the busiest intersection crossing in the world, Crazy!
I also managed to get myself lost again, which is not difficult when everything looks the same.
Loving every minute though, and can't wait to see what is around the corner.. till then.. xx
