Waiting for the right time. The first morning, as the first light struck the top of the Chaukhamba peak, I thought to capture the beauty with my eyes rather than the camera. This was like filling my soul. So calm it was. My breath caught in my throat and tears filled my eyes. Seemed like a dream come true. Syalsaur in Uttrakhand is one of the heavenly destinations on earth, full of Nature.

Frothing Mandakini. Water Burbling and Frothing Through the River Mandakini, Syalsaur, Uttrakhand. Mandakini is the most calm and composed rivers which flows through the Indian Himalayas. Big stones become natural barriers of the river and the water flashes and slaps the biggest of stones forming froth.

Sunrise at Chaukhamba. This peak is also sometimes referred as Kedar Peak. At Syalsaur, Uttrakhand, India. This is the first morning when I walked out to see the sunrise over the Mandakini River. As the light struck and cleared the sky, this marvelous huge massif named Chaukhamba came to light. It felt a sense of serene beauty filling my soul and I started to fill my eyes with the breathtaking view. Each view was more brilliant than the previous and more awe-inspiring.
