Hello friends and family. Today's blog comes from Koh Samui, and island on the west side of Thailand in the Gulf of Thailand. Jennifer and I left Phuket on Sunday and took a 7.5 hour trip that included 3 buses and 1 ferry to Koh Samui. And boy, was it worth it! Koh Samui is beautiful. Although still very touristy, not nearly as touristy as Phuket. We love it. The last few days have been pretty interesting. In addition to our travel day, we have had an interesting conversation with a Norweigan about President Bush, expats, and prostitution, eaten octopus and more curry, had a few drinks with one of the infamous lady boys, and made friends with other travellers. The food is better and more authentic here than in Phuket. We'll be in Koh Samui for about 7 more days, so more pictures to come.
