HI friends and family! As most of you know, Jennifer and I made it to Thailand in one piece! The flight here was quite interesting. Quick run down: 12 hour flight from Houston to Moscow. We had to deplane in Moscow, and wow!, was it cold. 20 degrees. We were not at all prepared for that. What I wouldn't give now for a little of that cold! From Moscow, we had a 10 hour flight to Singapore and a 5 1/2 hour layover in Singapore. The Singapore airport was incredible. Clean, quiet, incredible shopping, and lots of food options. We had chicken noodle soup for breakfast. :) In the center of the airport was a gorgeous orchid display with a koi pond. The "Journey to Thailand" photo album has pictures of the snow and orchids!
