These boots were made for walking After spending a year on a University exchange trip I'll be heading back home to Canada at the end of November. I'll be taking a couple detours on the way home stopping in New Zealand and then Hawaii.

Well, this isn't the most interesting update so I'll keep it short.

The ferry from Picton was good but they have to work on the quality of the films they show.  A Hillary Duff feature (A Cinderella Story) followed by a Lindsay Lohan feature (Freaky Friday) is not exactly top class entertainment.  I'm glad it was only a 3 1/2 hours ride.

Monday I went to the Te Papa museum which I followed up by a nice nap on a park bench before heading to a movie.

Today I took the historic cable car to the Botanic Gardens where I took a nice nap before heading to a movie.

Do we see a pattern here?  At least it's pretty cheap to see movies with the exchange rate.  I'm going to have a lot of catching up when I get back to Canada as the movies down here are usually released after North America.

I think I've just totally exhausted myself out with walking everyday that I just want to sit on my ass for a while.  I have an 8 hour bus ride to look forward to tomorrow so I guess my wish is granted.

I'm going to Rotorua tomorrow.  Check back and I'll let you know how it feels to be in a human hamster ball, one of the interesting activites on offer there.

Have fun in Rotorua, I'm sure you'll get used to the smell.

I have no idea what Rotorua is, but it sounds interesting. Have fun!
